Lately, time is passing by reaaally fast, so its time to start thinking about where to put vacation days. Obviously, they are limited, which doesn’t stop my ideas from going into overdrive. 🙂 It is amazing how much travel you can squeeze into one year with a bit of imagination and a good savings plan. I might be homebound, but I already have a bucket list of destinations for the future. And here they are:
- Backpacking through Chile – we haven’t done Southern America yet, but after three times in a row in Asia, I guess it is time to.
- Windsurfing in Mauritius – look at the photos. No explanation needed there, because it looks freaking amazing.
- Exploring Azores or Madeira – both in Portugal. Portugal was up to this day one of the best trips we ever had. The food and wine were amazing and we’re definitely going back again soon, probably in April/May if I don’t get another idea.
- Kazakhstan – I’ve had my mind set on it since 2011 when during Ljubljana Summer School my classmate told me she was from Almaty, and that it is a city of apples. And, because of Borat of course.
- Turkey (Cappadocia and Istanbul) – Because of the hot air balloons, cheap prices and because it looks amazing.
- A meuctrip to Litva, Latvia, Estonia or Romania with my girl Anja.
I could have easily added Scotland, Israel, Bali, Canada, Macedonia and at least a city trip to Scandinavia to this list. And New York City. But, priorities. Realistically this is enough destinations for a few years anyway.
And I’m off to check out google flights. 🙂
